About Me

Hi! I am Jerald Junn Bongcawel. A freelance artist. I was born on the 15th of January, 2002. I started to have an interest in art as early as I can remember. My older brother used to draw stick figures and I was always amazed by his drawings then I also tried it.

I didn't take art seriously in the early years of my life. My parents have always reminded me to focus more on my studies and make art as my hobby. and so did i. I just draw for fun and to kill time before and then, When I went to Silliman University for my Senior High School years. I met this girl and I was head over heels for her. I wanted to impress her and the only thing I could think of is by giving her a portrait. i started my art journey with a soft charcoal pencil and a 20 dollar sketchbook. I drew this girl almost every day as my goal is to draw an amazing portrait of her.

Years later, I fell in love with the craft and I decided to pursue this as my career. I am really happy with the experiences I had in the past and the things that molded me into the person i am now. I hope to grow more, not just as an artist but also as an individual as we move forward in this journey.
